Why???

Why must groceries cost SO much these days?! I guess to pay for the gas that costs too much and to make up for all the fast food that we Americans eat. (The grocery stores probably DO suffer...we eat out WAY too much!) We've decided we are going to do better and eat out less, but come on!! It makes it difficult, especially on a stay at home mom like me, to want to go to the trouble to lug the kids to the store, get the groceries, lug them home and make healthy yummy meals when I could spend the same amount (OK..maybe not SAME...but close for all the work) and just have someone hand it to me. (even with a wrapper on it! Ha!) Grocery day is not my favorite day of the week, but there IS something that feels good about having the cupboards stocked and the fridge full of good foods! For today, I survived! It sometimes feels like at the end of the trip that I have run a marathon! (Does it count, Holly??!) All in all, I can't complain! My kids compared to some of the others in the store should have halos and little wings!

I'm off to go plant my seedlings now! They sprouted, and FAST! I'm excited!

After today, I think I'll sleep well tonight!

Ditto- The marathon feeling! Right now the grocery store is not my friend! However, I do love the feeling of a full fridge- I love it so much sometimes I don't even want to eat the new food! Ha!!

I had to catch up on your blog!
Cait is so cute with the cat!
