Where am I?

Guess where I am as I type this message? On a boat? Wait...Disney World? The beach with a laptop and a drink with an umbrella in it? Um....'fraid not! I'm HOME! Why is it that when you plan a BIG trip with little kids, something usually goes wrong?

Saturday was supposed to be a day of fun and excitement as we got to go spend a few days with Poppy and Sharon. We were going to do all kinds of adventurous new things with our grandparents and cousins, ya know? Well...B. and I woke up SICK. We hoped it'd go away...it didn't. By the end of the day...every one of the five of us were SICK SICK SICK. Hal managed to be the best off with only getting slightly sick at the end of the day. I guess she felt left out. She waited almost the whole day and then contributed her part and was done. Weird. (Sorry..gross too)

Father's Day was a bust. (Although we did feel well enough to take Scott to go get stuff to make grilled cheese and somewhat homemade soup...as well as brownies and ice cream that I'm going to make in a few because we wanted to make sure we could ENJOY them before making them!) He also got his new yard trimmer. Isn't that exciting?!?! But you know what....he could hardly wait to get it out of the box and try it out last night for about half an hour. I love men and their yard toys. It's really endearing to me to see, even at 33, his eyes light up and the excitement of digging in to something new. (And he has beautiful eyes in case you didn't know!)

So....all of this said....

Happy Belated Father's Day Daddy, Scott and Frank!! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!

We'll see Florida in July!!! :)
By the way...it'll be better anyways...the OTHER news is that Cait FINALLY has a tooth!! Shes' SUPER grumpy though and I hate for her first time with Poppy and Sharon to be NOT fun because of her feeling crummy!!
