What's new with the fam?!

Hal -

• Is going to be starting Kindergarten in August, but will be homeschooling for this year. We're getting things in order for her to go to a Christian school hopefully the next year. (unless we just LOVE what we do this year!)
• We've progressed...favorite show a few months ago would be Pinky Dinky Do...now...we want to watch FOOD NETWORK all the time! She knows most of the cooks on there now. Watch out Paula, Rachel and Giada...we have a new show cooking up over here!
• Swimming, swimming, swimming! She gets braver everyday! We're hoping to get into lessons after our trip to Florida.
• Her list of "to dos" for next year are growing. We now want horseback lessons, soccer, AND gymnastics. We're going to start with gymnastics in September and go from there.

Brice - (aka Monkey)

• Is still loving all things music and guitars. I am guessing we'll have to be buying one in the future and getting lessons for him. I have NO clue how to play one..although I WOULD like to learn!
• Wants ALL boy stuff going on ALL the time! He's getting a little tired of all the girly-ness everyday!
• Loves to swim also! He even has learned in the last week how to go underwater without swallowing the entire pool! Go Brice!
• Loves to show off...but gets embarrassed very easily at times! Poor little guy beats himself up if he messes up and just buries his head in his hands for a while until he gets over it. He's a sweetie!

Cait -

• Has her first tooth! She's a snaggletooth..one on the bottom and that's it! I'm sure more are coming soon!
  
• Crawling still, but pulling up on everything and already trying to open doors by herself. Who cares that she's not walking...if the "big kids" can open the back door, why can't she?!
  
• Eating more table food. She LOVES Yo Baby Yogurt the best! It's the only way I can get her to eat cereal anymore! Forget BABY food!
• Starting to try to communicate with us. She's trying to make new sounds and always looks us straight in the face and makes a sound, like "Da," and looks at what she wants us to notice she's "talking" about.
  
• Knows what a crayon is for! The girl is 8 months old and crawls up to a color book, picks up a crayon and tries to draw! She's not strong enough or doesn't have the coordination for it to actually mark easily, but she sure tries.
  

Those are the MAIN goings on with our fam!! Things sure do change quickly around here!! Notice the parents are nowhere even mentioned on this post... Let's just say that 3 kids keep us just trying to keep up!
