Anyone have an answer?!?

Why, when little girls play, do they have to tell the people they are playing with WHAT to say exactly and when to say it?

Ex. While playing with dolls with her brother, Hal always has to say, "Say, No, Mommy...wait for me!" The thing is..HE SAYS IT! It drives me nuts!

Now, if I think back far enough, I can remember slightly my friends and I doing the same thing.
