So this is my first week in training for my Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. So far, so good! I got my schedule all printed out and am PUMPED! It's so much easier to pump up for a WALK instead of knowing that for the next 20 weeks I'll be doing something (aka running) that I don't enjoy. Walking...I can handle. I've decided that during this training, I'm going to adopt prayer walks. I have heard of many people doing this on their daily exercise and I think it's a perfect way to spend the time. Don't ya think? I've decided that since this is what I'm going to do, if anyone has a prayer request they would like me to add to my list, please let me know. I'll put my e-mail in the side bar just for that! I never want to come across as bragging about my Christianity or acting better than others..but I felt that mentioning it here would be worth it...if I can just help one person. Hope it comes across that way! Wish me luck! 20 weeks to go!
Along with the training, I have a LOT of money to raise too....$1760 to be exact! If you feel the need or want to help support the walk, feel free to donate to my page. I would so appreciate it! It goes straight to the fund in my name if you donate through the page so I don't have to worry about keeping up with who did what, etc.
Happy Holidays!! Hope you aren't getting TOO bogged down at the mall!

good luck!
I love walking more than running too!
Deanna, Those prayer walks are wonderful! I enjoyed them so much when I had more time to walk! You have a prayer request from me in your email. God will certainly Bless you in this! You are always wanting to help in some way and I know that this is an example to that. God Bless you my friend!
Noelle
