December Craziness!

I feel like I hardly have time anymore! I don't know if it's just December or if it's just that the baby is now getting old enough and busy enough that this is life with three kids. Pretty much each day I run around doing this and that...housework, errands, school, crafts, cooking,etc. and then look at the end of the day and wonder if anything got done at all. It's confusing how you can hardly sit down the entire day and yet things still be a disaster!!! I'm trying my best to find the good in it and just count my blessings though. I have a great life and many things to be happy about. There are people in my life these days that I cannot imagine not being a part of my life and while things can be complicated at times and busy...it's all worth it in the end!

Having said that, I thought I'd update on what's been going on over here at our house this week! Besides the normal everyday stuff that we do each day, we have also been doing a few Christmas things. We've gotten a few gifts...wrapped a few gifts and had our first "I want it now!" meltdown! B is going to be FUN this year!! HA! We got up our tree last Sunday along with the decorations outside. This year, we are sporting a GIANT Tigger in the front yard! We love him! We also made our very own Advent Calendar to keep up with how many days until Christmas. In each pocket is some candy, along with a symbol for Christmas. For school, we're doing a unit study on the symbols and this mama is learning her stuff! It's just as much fun for me as it is them!! We've sung Christmas carols and songs and just had fun together. Today is the day we're making the sweatshirts for our family pictures/kids Christmas photos which we are going to HAVE to take this weekend. I'm thinking of a few fun ideas for something a little different this year on that..you'll have to wait and see what we end up with though!! Later today I'll update with some pictures of everything!

Yes..Christmas can be crazy..but don't sweat the small stuff...enjoy every second!
