Here's the update you've all been on pins and needles waiting for! Ha! Just kidding!
I'm sure you all have a life! :)

The day started off early, heading to Inter-galactic airport...about 5 AM early. With 3 kids. You know how you are worried about waking up on time??
Well, we were supposed to get up at 5.
I woke up at 4:45 and screamed, "Get up!!! We have 15 minutes!!"
After jumping out of the bed...I realized we were supposed to WAKE UP at 5...and I had just missed my opportunity for 15 more minutes of z's.
What a disappointment! (Missing the z's, that is!)
This pic was Cait and I at the airport just before we boarded. She did great on the plane, as well as the other two big kids.
My kids love planes and I love not having to drive 17 hours!!

We drove up to the house to this B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L sign decorated by Sharon, Drake and Amber. They had decorated our rooms up, given us gifts (cute Floridian type magnets...about 7 of them!), and were just so sweet. LOVE those kids.
I sure wish they were still Texans!
It wasn't long before everybody was busy bonding! We got to see our room, which was really cool! It's an apartment within walking distance of the house and was really a neat little place...but not until everybody (but me!) jumped into the pool for some fun!
Brice wasn't intimidated a bit and jumped in, only to learn quickly that the water was "too big" for him. (No worries...we were right there when he did it!) Hal was her typical "careful" self (she's nothing like me...yeah...right!), and weighed everything carefully before jumping in and getting busy.
We also had a lot of father/son bonding going on...complete with watergun fights!
*talking about GROWN father/son bonding by the way* :)
It was a good time.
We were all so tired ready for bed early on this first night. Could hardly wait to get to bed!
I kind of felt bad...but man were we tired!!
The swimming, playing with cousins and looking around the new place was enough for one day!
We headed to our "home" for the week and all crashed hard!
Bed never felt so good!
Stay tuned for more pics and info on our fun vacation to Pine Island!
I just know you're on the edge of your seats!
