Catch up time!

OK..well it's been 2 weeks since I blogged and a lot has gone on, so I thought I'd do a quick update!

Our anniversary was July 3rd, and so we decided to take a trip, thanks to Me-maw and Papa for taking such wonderful care of our little treasures. We went to DISNEY WORLD without the kids!! That was fun! It was the 4th and we decided we wanted to go check out what the buzz was about...since I hadn't ever been. How sad is that? For all of you ride lovers, I hate to be downer, but we didn't ride but ONE thing...and we did that for the sights! It was relaxing...even on the 4th! Quick rundown of our trip...

• Got to the hotel after a midnight landing in Orlando at 3 AM! Go for a big name rental company! That's what we learned...you don't want to hear the rest!!
• Disney on the 4th - Parades, characters, fireworks..all awesome! Rude tourists who cut in line and act obnoxious and food choices at Magic Kingdom....not so awesome! (Food wasn't bad..just wish more to choose from!)
• Downtown Disney.. Planet Hollywood is a neat place to go to say you went....and the House of Blues for Edwin McCain was well worth it! The bands beforehand were awesome too! (Well..the first one especially was great!)
• You need an extra day just for SHOPPING! There was a great outlet mall we went to for a couple of hours just before we left that was awesome and the shopping alone at Disney could keep me browsing for days!

We had a wonderful time!! It was time well spent and the kids enjoyed every second as well!

After we got home, we have just been playing catch up mostly once my parents left. That sounded like I wanted them to go..and we didn't! I feel like we don't get to spend as much time with them now that gas prices are up! It's one of the worst things about the whole mess! :( My Dad had a procedure done and hopefully he will be healed up soon and feeling wonderful. One word...patience! He thinks he should be running marathons by now...ok...well maybe not..but at least feeling like getting up and around more. I think I know where I got that part of my personality for sure!!

Life is full and busy and going great!! Just everyday things from those big highlights..but they definitely have kept us busy enough.

Oh...sidenote...Wall-E? Not so much...you could probably skip this flick and be JUST FINE! YAWN!
