Donate to find a cure for Breast Cancer!
Every $20 donation before 3/1/08 earns one entry for this "Spring into Action" gift basket full of goodies for your home and yourself. This basket has over an $80 retail value.
All you have to do to try to win is go online and donate through my avon walk site. When you donate to the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, over 75% of the funds raised go directly to Breast Cancer Research. Much of it goes directly to MD Anderson, right here in our own backyard.
I think many people do not understand WHY I have to raise this money, or they look at it as money to support me in my walk. That isn't what this is about at all. When we pledge to walk these 39 miles (or 26, whichever you choose), we pledge to raise funds to find a cure for this terrible disease. It's a commitment. A commitment to help find THE cure. Donating doesn't support my walk....it doesn't just pay for the event....it helps to save lives. Please consider joining in with me by helping to support this cause.
